Bahamas Waterfront Properties is commited to advancing conservation through our business practices.  The Bahamas is and always has been a country recognized for its unique natural beauty.  Even the astronauts marvel at the dazzling colours of the Great Bahama Bank as seen from outer space.  Abundant in these waters are vast species of marine life that contribute to the overall wealth of the Bahamas and its people.

While development offers great financial rewards to many, it also inevetablly brings an element of destruction with it.  This element can be minimized through proper planning, policy and the advancement of sustainable development throughout the islands.  The increase in the number of national marine parks will ultimately increase marine resources as is scientifically evident in the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park.  Economic indicators also show that national parks are playing a bigger factor in developing countries such as the Bahamas as more people are looking for nature based destinations both for vacation and second or third homes.
